I am having a good time, however I am homesick. I miss my friends, calling to me isnt enough. I want to sit down and have a conversation. I want to go on a run and let my loving friends let me get a glass of water at their place. I miss sitting on the couch being told im going to have to sit in the pool room. I really want to play some super smash brothers (bomb bombs and bats only, of course). I miss fridays at city cafe. I miss a few more things, not wanting to bore you with them. My room is bland, all it is is a bed, desk dresser and sink. I have 0 pictures reminding me of the fun times. I did however try to make a few phonecalls today, some worked out some didnt. Would love to hear from you if you got spare time at night (i get off work at 5 central). I am glad work is keeping me busy, we are having a great time in the office. The staff is young, energetic and nice to the interns. I understand that all the interns do is run around and do the work they do not want to do, like a pledge. I'll give you the blog address of the "DC Interns" blog. Its hilarious, nothing on there is about me, but if there is I will let you know, maybe.
I remember about a month in a half or so ago I talked about a little slip of paper that gave me hope and that I was going to give it to someone else to perhaps help them in a tough time. Well, I didnt end up giving it away, he found happiness. Which is awesome because its nice when your close friends are happy. Now, I am looking at it again for hope and faith. I have the faith to get through this time, I did however chicken out twice this weekend on a phone call. Funny because I overcame that fear earlier this year, not sure whats the difference this time.
I am glad I did this internship, July in Tuscaloosa will be great. Nolan has taken me out a few times to show me around and introduced me to some people. That has been a plus. Tomorrow begins a busy week, with votes everyday so I will be "suiting up", and I look good.
Also I would like to give a shout out to WJTB radio, that was what I needed this morning when I read it, you are the man. We are going to have a good time in the house this summer/next year.
You stay classy
