I am still alive, I promise. I am aware that I have been anti-social the past few days/weeks but only because by the time I can get out of the ATO house its late by my standards and I want to sleep. Pathetic I know, but its the truth.

I was thinking about the name of my blog, the meaning is actually quite simple. But sadly I was not clever enough to come up with it. While looking through some golf quotes I stumbled upon I saw this one,

"I'm about five inches from being an outstanding golfer. That's the distance my left ear is from my right." ~Ben Crenshaw.

Yet I know its not the exact same title of my blog, but its true I am about five inches away from being outstanding at something. and it isn't golf, let me tell you.

So over the past week or so I have heard some terms that in my almost 3 years at the university have NEVER heard. I have been around sorority girls since I have been on campus and their "sorority language" is hysterical. I heard one complete sentence with only one complete word in it. I was ambushed by "pnm"s "big" and there are others but those are the ones I wrote down at the time. We live in a world full of acronyms and abbreviations. We are all guilty of it and tells you where the english language is going.

Formal is this weekend, Spring Break next, I am 7 days away from 10 days of freedom!!!
